Other family members watched mom die from the same thing and of course watched my sister die. Still they do not quit smoking. So I figure it must be really, really difficult.
Is smoking more difficult to quit than other addictions?

Yes, partially because of the nicotine inside ciggs and my sister lights one up when she gets too stressed. They “relieve” stress, but just barely. They only suppress the emotion until you bring it back up later. My sister has tried to quit before, and was about 2 weeks strong, but then had to give in.

I don’t really have a clue. It seems that people say it’s wayyy harder then it looks, so yeah. probably really hard.
I just wanted to say sorry for your loss and please don’t start/continue smoking (idk if you already have). It’s bad!

You just have to find something better to do and remember why you’re doing it. I quit cold turkey for 2 yrs. Trying to stop again. Just lazy.

I’m so sorry for your loss
It must be my mother quit smoking 2 years ago and she still feels the urge to smoke sometimes
