How To Get Girlfriend To Quit Smoking?

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

How can I get a girlfriend to quit smoking? She is a bit older than me. She says she is a “bad” girl. She likes smoking. She smokes a lot. It has not shown on her appearance yet. She says she thinks living long is too long for her and dieing early is fine with her.
I’ve dropped some hints like saying I want her to live a long healthy life. I said that I know people who smoke my age (20) that started around 13-14 who look like 40 year olds (no joke well maybe 30…). I told her people who do drugs are desperate and broke. They are still broke now at my age. I have thought of mentioning that if we have any children I’d want them to be healthy and we have talked about our future before. She has initially lied that she smokes since she knew I would try to stop her from smoking. I told her no one has a right to say how one should live and that to be a nice guy I shouldn’t get her to quit but this will be a huge problem in the future. I don’t want a girl who will look like a hag…soon…

What Does A Sore Throat Due To Quitting Smoking Feel Like?

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

I have stopped smoking going on my 5th day. For the last 3 days I have had a terrible sore throat. I read that a sore throat is a sympton of quitting, but how bad is it? My throat hurts so bad at times, I can not swallow. I just want to make sure it is part of the Quitters Flu, and not something I need to go to the DR for. (My throat is also very swollen and red).

The Denver Broncos are Looking Special

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

Who would have thought that the Denver Broncos would open up the season with two wins? I mean, there was a lot of drama and changes with the Broncos during the off-season. Following a disappointing finish last season, it looks like Denver football is back.

Swapping out Jay Cutler for Kyle Orton isn’t exactly appealing, and neither is losing Brandon Marshall without anyone else to fill his void.

The Broncos entered the season with a head coach barely old enough to play the game himself, and somehow they’ve strung together a nice first two weeks of football.

WR Brandon Marshall was very close to leaving the team as well. While Marshall may be immature to an extent, there is no denying his on-field ability. No coach wants to lose their best two players before the team even takes the field.

Whatever the case may be, I’d like to shift my emphasis to the Denver Broncos’ defensive situation so far. This is a team that has only let up a total of 13 points through the first two weeks of the football season.

Regardless of the difficulty of opponents, the Broncos’ defensive prowess simply can’t be overlooked. In two games, the team has given up just 13 points. 8 quarters of football and 13 points is impressive no matter how you look at it, since a handful of teams have given that up in one quarter of football.

The team’s 27-6 win against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday was highlighted by a franchise-high four sacks in one half by Elvis Dumervil.

Many people thought the Broncos were a 4-12 or 5-11 team at the start of the season. The Broncos have been one of the most surprising teams in the league so far. The Broncos only competition in the AFC West is the San Diego Chargers, understandably. It will be very tough to keep pace with the talented San Diego Chargers over the course of the season.

Avoid Angular Cheilosis From Happening To You

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

A lot of people have acquired angular cheilosis through the years. It is also known by different names such as cheilitis, angular stomatitis or perleche but they all mean one thing. People usually get angular cheilosis when they don’t have enough nutrients or vitamins such as vitamins B1 and B12 and iron. This is also most often acquired by the elderly who have teeth loss which results to over-closure of the mouth. Dentures which do not fit well with their mouths are also to be blamed for getting this condition. This also occurs often during the cold season with the younger children or teenagers because the lips tend to become too dry.

When one has cheilosis, sores are usually found on the corners of the mouth area. Your lips are most probably cracked and are quite painful when being moved. Sometimes, the lips bleed while the person affected is using his or her mouth.

Although, sometimes this condition appears to be connected with other similar looking conditions such as herpes or cold sores, they are actually two different cases.

Aside from the pain a patient feels when moving the mouth, it is also brings embarrassment for them since these sores do not really flatter the face. Even if this condition is non-life threatening, people don’t want to put up with the shame and pain they feel while having this.

There are a lot of treatments available to cure this condition. Before trying out various medicine or ointments, I would suggest that you seek a physician’s advice on what has caused your cheilosis and which particular ointment to use. If you go ahead and do self medication, you might do more harm than good and worsen the situation. Once you are aware of what is really causing your condition, you will be able to pinpoint what to avoid doing and choose the right medicine which will work to your advantage.

Though there may be a lot of treatment available in the market right now, it is still better to avoid having this. Some precautions that one could take to prevent angular cheilosis is to avoid licking your lips. I know that licking our cracked lips could give us an instant soothing effect, but actually, by doing so, it invites all sorts of fungus and bacteria to occupy the crack on our lips and thus result to cheilosis. Also try to avoid other habits which could make your lips more prone to wounds such as nail or pen biting.

Not many things are more frustrating thanperlech. Click to learn more about angular cheilitis or perleche.

Reverse Ageing – The NEW Secret of AC-11

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

So the next time you join a discussion about getting older or even Reverse Ageing and when you start sharing the fascinating Reverse Ageing facts below, your friends will be absolutely amazed to your secrets!

It seems silly for anyone put a limit on learning more. The next section may contain that one little bit of wisdom that changes everything.

REVERSE AGEING NOW!

Longevity, it is not a fountain after all….

Long gone, an obscure but unique plant was discovered in the Amazonian rain-forest. It is named Uncaria tomentosa, a vine that grows among the plentiful, exotic plethora of botanical species, some of which have not begun to be catalogd by biologists. More commonly known to the neighbors as “Ua de Gato” or “Cat’s Claw,” its outer bark contains a powerful, natural activator of DNA repair, vital to cellular health and imperative to longevity.

The benefits of Uncaria tomentosa just about make it sound like a cure all. It helps keep the immune system working properly. It helps prevent cellular damage, and damage to DNA. And whilst lots of the action of Uncaria tomentosa happens deep within the cells of the body is able to definitely affect the outward, obvious appearances of aging such as wrinkles and sun spots – conditions linked to the aging process in which the body produces imperfect DNA. What is the connection between DNA and aging?

Put simply, body our genetic code or the amount that we inherit from our fogeys. When we are born, our genetic code, or DNA, is virtually spotless. Each cell in our body is made primarily based on our DNA, and each cell becomes a holder of our complete genetic plan. As we grow and age, our bodies and our DNA are continually bombarded by things in the environment that may damage our DNA. A good example is the sun. Prolonged exposure to the sun ultimately damages our skin cells (and their DNA ) and results in wrinkles or worse. In fact, any damage to our DNA at last becomes the cause of the negative effects we associate with aging. This damage can also manifest itself as the cause of various ailments we encounter throughout our lifetimes.

If the body can’t produce clean copies of our DNA, our health and longevity will be without delay influenced. The key to optimal health, therefore, is to keep our DNA clean and healthy and manufacturing “clean” copies. We do this by helping our bodies neutralise excess free radicals, and at the same time, strengthen and nourish our cells and their DNA.

What will AC-11 do for me if I take it regularly?
