i smoke a pack of ciggaratte a day and then i stopped smoking about 10 months and now i started to smoke again i i find out that i’m smoke about 1.5 pack a day and i wanna stop smoking but i can’t stop smoking it, i have sign of hurt in lower chest and it probably lung. someone tell me do i have lung cancer? i want to stop smoking but i can’t and i don’t wanna die, please help me….

Routine is also important and also not bending rules all the time as this will cause confusion for them. So I’ve smoked for the past 5 years or so and I’ve always known it was bad for you,but I guess I just realized that the consequences can happen to me and the whole “it wont happen to me” attitude is wearing off. I stopped smoking last tuesday & as hard as it was I did pretty good.. but today I got some. I feel awful bc my husband was really proud that I had quit for as long as I did plus I have an 18 month old daughter & I really don’t want to kill myself and hurt her ( and my husband and future children ) in the long run. I’ve decided that I’m going to take just a few out of the pack to hold me over through this week and I’m giving the rest to a friend i know is a big smoker so i wont have them all around to tempt me. Right now I’m living by myself with my daughter bc my husband is in the air force so that is a BIG reason why I smoke bc i’m BORED. In a few days we are heading home for about 3 1/2 weeks to stay with my parents before we get stationed. I figured the few I took out of the pack will last me the week and then when we go home it will be easier to quit because since we’re staying with my parents while we visit my mom HATES smoking so i won’t be able to do it during the day and i’ll actually be around other people at all times so i won’t be bored and feel like i have to light up. since we’ll be there for 3 1/2 weeks i figured if i went that long without smoking then by the time we get stationed i won’t feel the need to smoke anymore even though i won’t be around everyone anymore. Basically I’m asking for help for anyone out there who has smoked and has successfully quit. What did you do? How long did it take you to feel normal and get to the point where you didn’t feel like you HAD to have one?? PLEASE HELP! I really don’t want to ruin my family’s life by cutting my life short and leaving them here torn and upset bc i was stupid enough to kill myself rather than just waiting for my time. PS. SORRY THIS IS SO LONG!!!
