When you quit, its going to drop slightly. 5-10 lbs it a normal weight gain. Anymore than that and you're replacing the nicotine with food. It is the easiest way of all to quit smoking. I'm not so sure about losing weight from it, but it will prevent you from gaining weight while you quite smoking. The down-side is that if you don't watch what you eat after going off the wellbutrin, you can then easily gain the weight that you would have when you quit the cigs. As for anxiety attacks - the good news is that wellbutrin is often prescribed in conjunction with anti- anxiety/antidepressant drugs. While some of the drugs can make you feel "draggy", the wellbutrin is like the little shot of energy you need. While it gives you energy, you don't get nervous, shaky or wired.
