Go to your local Pharmacy and ask about their smoking cessation service where you will get confidential help, support and advice over a number of weeks to help you quit. It’s free of charge (apart from the cost if prescriptions if you pay) and will increase your chances of successfully quitting. Good luck.

    Hi Lawaism,
The answer to quit smoking, is not to quit. It is to start smoking a healthy cigarette. You can get a healthy cigarette from Greensmoke. It has no tobacco, no secondhand smoke, no cancer causing substances, no ash and no bad smells. You can choose with or without nicotine.

I know it can help you.

Heya im Chloe. 13 and heres a few tips :) :
Find something to keep your mind off things. Maybe do a hobby to keep busy.
But dont stress your stress yourlself too much.
This might sound odd but carry a pen around so when you feel the urge to have a cigarette just chew on the pen. This might also sound odd but drink more orange juice apparently it helps you quit. But if none of this advise helps .. the best thing to do is phone the NHS for a free help package to quit smoking :) hope that helped x

Well done you. I think what your doing is VERY VERY GOOD. It will be hard, but please keep at it. My mum quit smoking a good few years back but her sister, has just been diagnosed with cancer. She and mum smoked since they were 17, and unfortunately, it looks bad for my mums sister. I hope you win your struggle.

Try cutting down. By this i meen if u do 2 packs of cig’s a day or what you do. Slowly just do less cigarettes a day. Like from to packs do one less cig. then the next day do one less. It helps but it will still be difficult so dedicate it to yourself to quit.

I just quit, because I got pregnant. But, it’s actually done a lot of good for me. It makes your skin prettier, and your teeth better. Ask your doctor if you can get the patches, i hear those work well. Or get knocked up, but you probably don’t want that.
