Stop Smoking Naturally With A Few Tips

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

Depending on how long you have been smoking, you may have passed the point where you can easily quit if you wanted to. Once you pass that point, it is almost impossible to quit. The first step in quitting is wanting to do it. You must really want to quit. It is possible though, and you can stop smoking naturally.

If you are a smoker, you know that it does not matter how much money you are spending on cigarettes. You do not care that people give you dirty looks. Cigarettes stain the walls and give a bad odor yet you do not care.

You even know that you can die or get Cancer. While all of these reasons are perfectly legitimate, they are just not enough reasons to help make you quit. I can tell you a reason to make you want to quit. I can share with you the number one reason that you help you truly want to quit. Would you like to be able to endure a six hour plane flight? Would you like to be able to hold yourself from leaving a warm building in order to stand in sub zero temperatures so you can take a few hits off a cigarette? Would you like to finish a meal for once without leaving the table or not worry about how you will survive a new job that will not allow smoking breaks? Do you keep extra cartons of cigarettes around worried that there might be a natural disaster that will make cigarette purchasing impossible? If the answer is yes, then you despise the cigarette having control over you.

Nobody wants to be controlled. You should hate the cigarette. This is the first step towards quitting. Knowing that you truly want to quit and believing it. Do not worry if you have tried to quit before and have failed. If you have tried to quit before, this is a very good sign. It means that you are on your way to quitting successfully.

For those smokers reading this, I know what you are thinking. You are thinking yes, easier said than done. You are probably smoking right now. Do not worry and do not put your cigarette out. Enjoy it. Enjoy all of those cigarettes because you are already on your way towards quitting. You will like this easy approach. Here is the final tip. You will promise yourself that the next time you are sick, it will be the last time you smoke. If you get sick once a year, then you will quit smoking within twelve months.

You wait. You wait for a boost. The most perfect boost you can get for jump starting your attempt to quit smoking is this. Very simple. You wait until you get a cold. A cold that gives you a sore throat. A cold that gives you a fever. A cold that gives you a stuffed nose and cough. You wait until you are so sick that you can’t smoke.

When you are very ill you will sometimes go a whole three days without smoking. This is the perfect boost you need. When the fourth day comes around and you are down to just a sniffle, it will be so much easier to resist picking up those cigarettes. You have already gone many hours and passed the hardest part of withdrawal. This is the time to demolish and cigarettes still lying around. Do not think to give them away. Crush them! Tell your friends what you did. They will support you.

Now, you just resist the urges by doing things you normally don’t do when you were smoking. Go swimming for example. Read support forums on the web. Cut up straws and pretend they are cigarettes. The urges will gradually fade away and you will then hate cigarettes even more than a non smoker. Good luck!

How to Quit Smoking: The Magic Stop Smoking Pill

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

You may be one of millions who get trapped by catchy ads of ‘magic pills’ that can cure you of your smoking habit without any effort. It is all tall talk. There is no such wonder drug. So, don’t wait for miracles to happen, and start making an effort to get rid of your smoking habit.

Well, I am afraid I have some bad news for you. It doesn’t exist yet. You still have to want to quit and put some effort in of your own. Yes, you read that right. You need to make the change and implement it of your own accord.

Regarding the ‘magic pills’, look at some interesting statistics:

* About 3% people can successfully quit cold turkey and that too not on their first attempt.

* Many off-the-shelf pharmaceuticals claim to double your chances (6%) and increase them fivefold (15%) at best.

* Other newly released products claim nearly twenty times the effectiveness of cold turkey. However, this rate of success was achieved by giving huge incentives. There was a fully supportive group and a team of team of doctors and counselors watching over them and testing each phase, and to top it all, they were paid for their efforts as well. Any one would quit smoking if someone else is willing to spend thousands of dollars and dozens of hours to help them do it! But, this is not the ground reality. How many people would be fortunate to get into this select group? In the ultimate analysis, this improved wonder drug will ultimately fall into the same percentages as every other pharmaceutical offering.

So the magic 100% success rate is a total myth. It is wishful thinking on the part of pharmaceutical companies that try to captivate the desperate smokers desperately trying to give up smoking without making any effort. This is not to say that smoking cessation does not help at all; it does aid sometimes. But, as the good old saying goes, God helps those who help themselves. These wonder drugs also help more if you place your faith in yourself and your ability to achieve your stop smoking goal rather than place all your bets on a pill or a patch.

The effort required on your part is basically about educating yourself and preparing to quit smoking. It’s not about willpower. You need to find out what the real truths are about your smoking habit and what it really takes to rid yourself of it. And, in order to gain all this, you need to select a program. You will find many fully encompassing information programs to help you meet this goal.

So, to begin with, you must seek out all the information you can find about smoking, nicotine, quitting and the benefits of quitting. You need to spend a few days or weeks to find the information that will help you quit without relying on a ‘magic pill’ to do it for you. After all, you’ve spent years or decades developing your smoking habit, so now it is but natural that you should spend some time to get rid of it.

You’ll find that the more you know, the more successful you will be. This advice doesn’t just apply to quitting smoking, but in everything you do in life.

To your very best in future,

Darren Warmuth

Hypnosis-How To Stop Smoking the #1 Easiest Proven Method

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

When you open your eyes after being hypnotized, you will feel like a non-smoker and smoking will feel like a past distant memory, something you once did a long time ago.

You will NOT have the cravings, urges, desires for tobacco or feel like smoking. You will feel good and healthy. The smell of smoke will be unappealing & unappetizing. You will not miss the tobacco or nicotine. However, one most common mistake people make after being hypnotized is after the hypnosis session, they feel fine and they sit there putting it to the test with trying very hard to feel the urge to smoke, wondering where is that craving they are so familiar with. If you try hard enough, you can bring it back, thinking about that feeling of cravings for a cigarette. When you do this, you are re-hypnotizing yourself TO BE A SMOKER, focusing on bringing those urges and cravings in. You know what it feels like and thinking about it, remembering what it feels like, trying to feel it, because you know it is there if you can just find it and VOILA’ , you’re a smoker again!!.

ALL HYPNOSIS IS SELF HYPNOSIS. You can hypnotize yourself anytime you want. This works and works very well. I suggest you know what you are going to do when you are done with the hypnosis session and be on your way and do it. Do not focus on the old memories of those urges, trying to feel and bring in the craving for the tobacco or nicotine.

A light trance is as trancy as you need to get for this to work. This means you do not have to experience a deep trance. Deeper trances do not work better, but they are more interesting. A nice light trance is all you need for this to work. This means you simply, sit back, try to relax, listen to my voice and thinking about what I’m saying, participating and if you hear me, remember everything I say, are aware of other noises around you, that’s fine. To help you focus on my voice so you are not too distracted, focus on your breathing, feeling and listening to yourself breathe as you listen to every word I speak. Keep your tongue off the roof of your mouth so you can relax and relax your eyelids. If you do this, you won’t have tension in your face or body. Keep your eyes closed until I tell you to open them. Simply participating by following my instructions, will make you a great subject and you will be hypnotized even if you “don’t feel anything” because you won’t, other than feel relaxed. Afterwards, you will FEEL better, healthier, happier and stronger.

You are always in control. Always. Your senses become keener. You become more aware, not less. You hear me, and if you feel the need to know what I say, you’ll keep your level of physical consciousness up, tuned in on me so you can be aware of what is being said. Your mind may wonder. It can and if it does, just bring your attention back to my voice thinking about what I am saying. Think about cleaning up your system as we do a cleansing on your body of toxins. This is powerful. Try to focus on my voice and think about what I am saying and as long as you can do that, you ARE participating and WILL be hypnotized.

This is like a mind exercise. You do not just listen to me as if I’m telling you a story but think about it, using your imagination, being creative, actually participating with the mind at work and feel it with emotion to make it most powerful.

I strongly recommend listening to your CD “Stop Smoking with Hypnosis” EVERYDAY or almost everyday for the first 28 days to reinforce these suggestions so you will never smoke again, then listen to it when you feel like it, want to, can’t sleep or your stress level is up.

Even if you have no desire to smoke, I suggest you listen to it anyway

How to Stop Smoking -Reliable Facts

Monday, December 21st, 2009

There are two different types of hypnotherapy for various symptoms and conditions. The two types of hypnotherapy are known as Suggestion Therapy (also known as clinical hypnosis) and Analytical Hypnotherapy (also known as hypnoanalysis, or ‘Pure’ hypnoanalysis as it is called in the association).Suggestion Therapy (clinical hypnosis)Suggestion therapy is a wonderfully quick and powerful type of therapy using the state of hypnosis. In suggestion therapy the client is induced into a relaxing hypnotic state and given positive hypnotic suggestions specifically tailored to reframe and change a persons behavior the symptoms you are wanting help with.Suggestion therapy is particularly successful for so-called minor symptoms such as stop and quit smoking,, pre-test nerves, nail-biting and assistance with pain control especially in relaxed childbirth therapy.Pure Hypnoanalysis (analytical hypnotherapy)Pure Hypnoanalysis is the single most Effective form of therapy available in the world today, for the resolution of anxiety, depression, phobias, fears, eating disorders and other psychological and emotional problems/symptoms.Pure Hypnoanalysis is a highly developed form of hypnoanalysis (sometimes called hypno-analysis or analytical hypnotherapy) Hypnoanalysis, in its various forms, is practiced all over the world, though only IAPH Members are trained to practice the amazing ‘Pure’ version.Emotions and your mental healthSimply put, each person is anxiety or conflict with it ís associated symptoms is the result of pent up and bottled up emotions buried deep within that persons mind. Emotions that haven’t been dealt with and continue to churn and grate at one’s psyche eventually creating an organic dysfunction in a biomedical system. These conflicts and emotions have quiet literally been buried in the back of our minds since our childhood and forming years.Because they have been hidden away we are unable to deal with them and get over them as we have been designed to do. It is said that time is a healer, this is not necessarily true, it is actually the release of emotion over time that allows us to move on. If you are no longer consciously aware of the conflict how can you release it or get over it?You can’t, it will continue to simmer away under the surface presenting itself in anxiety disorders, phobias and all the symptoms outlined. So the most natural and gentle therapeutic way to resolve these problems is to go back to that time time, recall the emotion and simply let it go.My experience and training tells me this…that Pure Hypnoanalysis, as practiced by IAPH members, is faster, more effective, more liberating and more empowering, than any other therapy available today! How hypnoanalysis worksThis type of hypnotherapy in which IAPH practitioners specialize involves the use of the relaxing hypnotic state for comfort and relaxation and then using the remaining session time to link experiences together (by talking about them, sometimes called free association) to eventually resolve/get rid of these internal emotions that are causing the problem or symptom.Your safe place to let goIn essence, the success of Pure Hypnoanalysis is brought about by creating a relationship of trust and confidentiality in a safe and comfortable environment where the natural therapeutic process can work, ALLOWING the client to slowly bring all the bottled up emotions to the surface.Hypnoanalysis isn’t just ‘counseling’ or traditional psychotherapy (which takes years and thousands of hours). Hypnoanalysis isn’t talking about “any old stuff”…every symptom caused by psychosomatic or psychological forces must have an originating cause and all we do is create a safe, caring, trusting, confidential relationship and slowly and gently help you to release those ‘bottled up’ emotions so that you can go on to lead a much happier and more relaxed life. Pure hypnoanalysis does not rely on insight or intellect or what the therapist considers important or significant we do not use fishing techniques, regression techniques or any other invasive techniques. When looking into finding out more in regard to stop smoking; we suggest you do some careful research yourself. It is not something that is talked through, or smoothed over or giving up one’s belief to something external .It simply facilitates a natural therapeutic process for the client allowing bottled up emotions come to the surface and ultimately resolve the real underlying cause of symptoms.Hypnoanalysis involves a weekly session of about 50 minutes, and the course of therapy usually lasts somewhere between 6 and 10 sessions. It is time to totally resolve these issues and transform your life.

Reduce the Stress When You Stop Smoking

Monday, December 14th, 2009

Trying to figure out how to scale back the stress that goes along with making an attempt to stop smoking is rarely easy. There are a number of factors that may all work in cooperation to put stress on you badly and learning how to avoid those potential problems is absolutely critical to success. If you don’t know what you do, you are going to find that it is very difficult to get the results that you need, without getting yourself into an even worse position. Learning how to get rid of stress is typically able to go side by side with attempting to stop smoking, so it’s just natural that it can complicate making an attempt to quit.If you want to give up smoking for good, you will need to learn the way to relax and reduce stress while giving up smoking. This can mean activities like yoga, meditation and even a pleasant relaxing shower or bath.If you just try to disregard the stress in your life, you are going to find it much harder to stop smoking ; at last, you will finish up smoking even more than formerly and causing damage to your health even more.Look for a hobby that you can do to help you break free from the strains of family and your job. Most of the people can agree that their job causes stress at some point. Having a hobby to help rid your life of stress even for some moments at a time is awfully helpful. If you don’t have a hobby, you must look for one. Just be certain that you choose something that you enjoy which is relaxing. It is a bad idea to search for a hobby that reminds you a bit of your job or other similar stressful scenarios. You need these brief minutes to oneself so that you can unplug from your life. If you are continually around people, you’ll notice that your patience levels begin to get smaller substantially . This may make it much easier to snap, which in turn increases your level of stress. Even if you have to stay up an extra ten minutes, or get up ten minutes earlier, these precious moments to collect your thoughts will be appreciated. The proven fact that many folks pick up smoking to help alleviate stress is no secret. This suggests to stop smoking for good you have to come up with stress relief or you’ll just be a yoyo between cigarettes for a very long period of time.Working to master the will to smoke is not easy, it involves plenty of work, and reducing the stress in your life is certainly a good spot to start. If you can’t eliminate the stress like most of the people, your next best option is to just find how to correctly deal with the stress, and these suggestions will help you to cope while you try to stop smoking.
